Welcome to our blog,at Purple Scent Lavender

I hope everyone's summer was as joyful as mine. We did not have a lavender festival this year because of all my busy family events, don't be disappointed their is always next year! I am grateful and happy to say that we have a beautiful new addition to our family, baby Noland Steven Powers.I am now the proud grandmother of two grand children and loving every moment.
While keeping busy at the farm, I manage to slip away for 4 days to a Italian family reunion in Montana. It was a fabulous time.It took place on Georgetown Lake a popular recreation area for boating, fishing, camping and windsurfing. We of coarse did the obvious, eating, drinking fine homemade Italian wine, and talking until wee hours of the night.
We had some wonderful people from all over the US visit our farm this summer. It was nice to meet each and everyone of you.I hope to see you again next summer. We have allot to do this year to get ready for next summer, lots of new and exciting things happening, one is we have bought more property and will be planting another field of lavender. So keep in touch and I will fill you in, as we make progress.

Stop and smell the flowers

Purple Scent Lavender is excited to be a part of blog spot! It’s another way of connecting with our many lavender friends. We want to let you know what we are up to on the farm, and we would love to hear your comments or suggestions you may have on the subject of lavender. This is our ninth year of operation at Purple Scent Lavender, and I still love my job. The lavender gift shop opened on Mothers Day, we are happy to say. We have been cleaning the farm for months now weeding, trimming, painting, planting, more weeding not to mention sewing and making bath products. WOW I’m a bit tired. See you at the farm!! Tuesday – Sunday 10:00 – 5:00
